Hello, hello! My name is Tyler Wacker and I’ve aimed to live life a little differently than the norm. I am currently in grad school in Isafjordur, Iceland, studying Coastal Communities and Regional Development. In the beginning of 2020, I set off on an 8-month, 10,000 mile solo bike tour around the perimeter of the United States. COVID derailed my plans and i revised it to a ride across the country and covered almost seven thousand miles while meeting the most incredible people along the way.

I enjoy living in small spaces and owning fewer things. I want my life to be defined by experiences, not the souvenirs and stuff I’ve accumulated. My words and photos are the only things I like to keep.  I enjoy being outside and riding my bike or going for a run and this blog is a way to grow as a person and share the stories of my experiences and acquaintances.
